Chilton Trinity students celebrate after ending excellent year with yet another strong set of results and record breaking student progress
The school saw students excel with success across many subjects with some brilliant individual success stories.
And significantly the first year that the Government's new benchmark Progress 8 measure was used, Chilton had higher progress measures across many subjects than ever before.
The figures show that Chilton Trinity is adding real value to students during their time at the school.
Among the individual student success stories include Lucy Pigden with 4 A* and 6A, Nicole Morris, 2A*, 7A, 1B, Tonicha Lee, 1A*, 7A,1B, Chloe Jodkowski, 3A*, 3A, 4B, Thomas Hodson, 7A, 3B, Emily Hill, 4A*, 1A,4B, and Harry Eaton, 1A* 8A.
In addition, many students gained grades significantly above their targets. These included Katie Reed, Shannon Searle, Jo McMinn, Eryk Luzcka, Lewis Green, Fayyad Chowdhury, Karl Cox, Ella Flack, Josh Lock and Owen Frost.
Student Prazer Gonsalves achieved 1A*, 5A, 2B after only joining Chilton from India at the start of Year 11.
The school recorded particularly strong results in English Language and Literature, Religious Studies, Spanish, Media Studies, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, PE, Music, Health and Social Care.
Another inspirational student was Harry Sheehan who achieved excellent grades across all his subjects in addition to the huge contribution he made to sport and performing arts.
Headteacher Lesley Greenway said: "We are hugely proud of all those students who were committed and applied themselves throughout their time at Chilton and they have been rewarded with fabulous outcomes, for themselves, their families and the Chilton Trinity community.
"We are especially pleased that the figures show we help every single student at Chilton to make progress during their time at the school.
"We wish all our leavers every success in the next stage of their journey and want them to keep in touch with their lifetime of successes."
