The Quality in Study Support recognition scheme is produced on behalf of the DSCF by CELSI (Centre for Education Leadership and School Improvement), Canterbury University.  Chilton Trinity achieved Emerged Status in June 2006, and will be applying for re accreditation at that level in early 2010.

The Code of practice provides a flexible framework for self-evaluation and the development of study support (out of school hours learning) across the school.

Emerged Status recognises good practice with in a well-run study support programme, in which a visitor would expect to find clarity of purpose, and coherent planning and provision.  A clear link would be demonstrated between needs and purposes.
