Once again, Chilton Trinity Technology College has improved on its previous best with an impressive set of exam results this year. 96% of the year group gained five or more GCSE passes; 62% of students achieved five or more passes at the higher grades of A*-C. Exceeding their targets, the school is now placed well in the top 25% in the country.
Pat Hollinghurst, Head at the school, was clearly overjoyed at the success of all students right across the ability range.
“I am so proud of what our students have achieved and appreciate the dedication and commitment not only of our staff at Chilton Trinity but also of our Primary colleagues who laid such strong foundations. We also value, of course, our other local learning partners.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the army of parents and carers who support their children every year to rise to the challenge of these important “stepping stone” exams.
Across the town students have achieved well and I am sure our community shares my pride in our fine young people.
I look forward to the future when we can continue to build on the success of this year’s outstanding Year 11 through the work of the Bridgwater Education Trust. Through our collaboration within the Trust, all four secondary schools, the College and Elmwood and Penrose Schools are uniquely placed to provide a rich and varied curriculum to suit every child in Bridgwater and enable them to achieve and be their best.”
Congratulations Year 11! What wonderful achievements. |
