As a school we are continuing to develop opportunities for gifted and talented students both within and outside curriculum time.  The school is currently striving to achieve the Challenge Award, which will accredit our commitment to excellent provision and challenge for our more able students.  We have a Coordinator for Gifted and Talented students who would be please to answer any queries or concerns.

As part of the Bridgwater Excellence Cluster, a variety of enrichment and cross-curricular events catering for the more able learner has been established.  Students identified and placed on the schools more able register will be offered opportunities to attend such events throughout the year.

The Local Authority also provides a range of residential subject-related courses at Kilve Court and students are nominated for these by their subject teacher.
