ABSENCES

Heads of Years and tutors monitor attendance closely to ensure any attendance problems are dealt with promptly.

 

The DfEE now publishes annually details on authorised and unauthorised absences.

The figures for our school for 2006/2007 are as follows:

Percentage of pupil sessions (half days) missed through authorised absence – 8.0%

Percentage of pupil sessions (half days) missed through unauthorised absence – 1.4%

Total number of day pupils of compulsory school age on roll for at least one session -  1023
