Prospectus- COMMUNICATION WITH SCHOOL

Good communication between home and school is central to the development of an effective partnership between parents, students and teachers and we welcome comment on any aspect of our work.

If you are concerned, or wish to share information, please do not hesitate to contact the form tutor, the appropriate member of the pastoral team, the Head or one of the senior leadership team either by letter or telephone.  Similarly, if there is a concern on our part, we will contact parents at an early stage to seek your co-operation in supporting your children to make the best of all the opportunities at Chilton Trinity.

Students in every year group have a School Planner which encourages student organisation, supports achievement and helps improve communication between school and home.

The Planner contains:

 

• a homework diary to keep a record of when homework is set and when it is completed
• helpful notes on daily routines and organisation
• advice on homework and study skills
• opportunities for students to assess their achievements, to set targets for continued improvement and for parents and staff to monitor progress.
