Prospectus-Homework Study Support

Homework is set on a regular basis and complements school work, encouraging the development of valuable study skills and learning independence.  Homework should take its place alongside other worthwhile out-of-school activities in your child's development.  Students are expected to complete homework on time and are provided with homework planners in which to record assignments.  Parents are asked to check the planner at regular intervals and to contact the school if there are any concerns.  Provision for Supported Self-Study is also offered to students.  The Out of Hours Learning Club provides computer-based facilities where students can call in to finish project work, use a printer, search the internet for information or seek advice on homework.  An extensive range of out of hours activities also help to support and develop the ‘whole’ child and promote positive lifelong

learning attitudes.
