Welcome
Headteacher’s Welcome

Ms K Deady, Headteacher
I am extremely proud to introduce myself as the Headteacher of Chilton Trinity School, extending a warm welcome to you from all members of our thriving and purposeful 11-16 school community, serving Bridgwater and the surrounding areas.
Over the last year, we have engaged with all stakeholders to reshape our shared Mission, Vision and Values to truly reflect and represent who we are as a school:
Our Mission: A school community where everyone belongs, everyone is valued, and everyone can thrive
Our Vision: Success Breeds Success
Our Values: Work Hard - Be Kind – Be Ambitious – Be Curious – Be Proud
This collaborative project was a pivotal stage in our school improvement journey, as it now shapes every decision we make for every member of our school community, enabling everyone to thrive and maximise their potential for success.
Our ambition for success came to fruition for our fantastic Class of 2024, with this cohort of Year 11 students achieving stunning final GCSE, BTEC and vocational course outcomes. We are immensely proud of some truly exceptional results, reflecting the hard work and effort our students have committed to their studies throughout their school career, with the support of parents, carers and dedicated staff. We are incredibly proud of the significant improvement in English and Maths outcomes made by this Year 11 cohort. It has been so pleasing to see students across the ability range achieving standard and strong passes in English and Maths as these qualifications offer an important gateway to a wide range of post-16 courses and opportunities. This is a school community prepared to go the extra mile to ensure students have every opportunity to leave school with a good set of qualifications to access the next phase of their education or training at an appropriate level.
We were absolutely thrilled when Ofsted inspected us in September 2024 and judged us as ‘Good’ in all areas of the Ofsted Framework:
We are proud of the outcome of this inspection as it is a testimony to the dedication and commitment of staff who work tirelessly to support all students.
Our aim at Chilton Trinity is simple – within a safe environment we strive to offer a high-quality educational experience where students are noticed and cared for by our exceptional pastoral support team, whilst academically being challenged to be the very best they can be. We are working hard to remove every barrier to learning so that all students have the opportunity for academic success, enabling students to make good choices in their first next steps beyond life at school.
Unapologetically, we have high expectations of every member of the school community in relation to attendance, behaviour and academic achievement. Our students know it is not enough to simply attend school every day – they need to embrace every opportunity they are given in school, not only in the classroom, but also the wide range of opportunities they can participate in through our strong House system and extra-curricular activities and visits.
We have worked hard to create a strong school community where there is a real sense of belonging built on mutual trust and respect. We are relentless in expecting the very best from all so that we maintain good standards or improve where we know we can be better, as only the best is good enough for and from our students. We are trusted educational professionals, and we are delighted our parents and carers support us as every decision we make is in the best interest of our students to improve their potential for academic and pastoral success.
We are proud to belong to the Futura Learning Partnership, a family of 27 primary and secondary schools across the South-West, as we benefit from the opportunity to collaborate with the very best practitioners across the Trust; this has huge scope and potential to impact positively on different aspects of school life. The shared Futura Learning Partnership values of Respect, Opportunity, Collaboration and Aspiration underpin everything we do as a school community, and we appreciate Futura’s support and encouragement for each of its schools to reflect and represent the individuality and identity of the local community it serves.
There is so much more for you to discover about our school, and we are always keen to welcome visitors. If you would like to visit our school, please contact in the first instance, our Reception Manager Miss H McElligott on 01278 425222.
